Which documents are required
To register a supplement you need to confirm the product’s safety, composition and efficacy:
- Power of attorney from the manufacturer to the authorised person submitting the application and obtaining the approval on the manufacturer’s behalf
- Safety certificate for the supplement or a registration certificate from the country of origin
- Packaging or design with information in the state (Uzbek) language
- Composition and instructions for use; herbal ingredients are listed in Latin
- Conclusion on the supplement’s efficacy assessment by experimental laboratory modelling
- Conclusion of an accredited Uzbekistan laboratory with the chemical composition — active and excipient substances
- Toxicological-hygienic assessment report with the contract and invoice from the laboratory complex attached
Who needs registration
Manufacturers and importers of supplements, distributors and trademark owners. Without a registration certificate, importing and selling supplements in Uzbekistan is prohibited.
