New registration rules 2025–2026
Regulation of medicines and medical devices in Uzbekistan has been updated. New procedures for state registration and clinical trials were adopted under the Law “On Medicines and Pharmaceutical Activity” and Presidential Decree No. UP-137 of 19 August 2025.
- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 738 of 24 November 2025 — regulations on the state registration of medicines and medical devices: requirements, the list of documents and the step-by-step procedure via the Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety under the Ministry of Health.
- Order of the Minister of Health No. 3745 (in force from 26 February 2026) — the procedure for clinical trials of medicinal and pharmacological products, harmonised with ICH and GxP requirements.
